NEW 2024 TRIO COMPENSATION REPORT

Fostering equity-driven conversations and solutions to enhance quality of life and advocate for the vital work of educational opportunity

The 2023- 2024 TRIO Professionals Compensation report presents the findings of a survey administered from Fall 2023 to Winter 2024 by the Pell Institute. Survey respondents provided data for the 2022/2023-2023/2024 tax year in hopes that the data will inspire asset-based discussions and solutions to improve the quality of life for TRIO professionals. The survey was sent to all members of the TRIO community registered with the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE), which represents ten regional TRIO associations. The survey was sent to a total of 8,252 people yielding a final sample size of 1,367 respondents. Findings show that nearly 70% of respondents reported coming from low-income backgrounds and across the U.S. and Guam, the average TRIO salary was $57,635. The report is free for COE members, and costs $49.00 for non-members.
